Check hardscape and easement limits before sizing a patio
The Township’s standards discuss patios, easements, setbacks and limits on hard-surface coverage. Determine which covenant and lot criteria apply to your property before selecting the final footprint. A larger patio may require a different review than replacing a surface within the existing outline.
Use a layout that shows the whole yard
Mark the house, drainage paths, existing hardscape and requested addition on one plan. Ask whether proposed work affects access to utilities or landscape areas. Keep any association response with the provider’s proposal; it does not replace other applicable approvals.
Bring a project packet, not just a square-foot figure
Gather your address, intended use, measured sketch and photos of access, existing surfaces and drainage. Tell the provider whether demolition is part of the job. Ask it to confirm the actual work offered, responsibility for approvals and a written change process.
Compare driveway installation, patio planning, decorative finishes, slab preparation and walkway installation. Repair-only requests are outside the current scope.
