Prepare a concrete project in Fulshear
Start with the property address, a survey or site plan if available, and the intended footprint. Ask the responsible local authority which requirements apply; a Fulshear mailing address alone does not determine jurisdiction or approval.

- 2Jurisdiction + scope
- 3Applicable requirements
- 4Written project plan
Locate the work on your property
Mark the house, property lines, easements, existing pavement and proposed surface. Do not use an online map as a survey. Note whether the project meets a public sidewalk, driveway approach, curb or drainage feature, because work at those connections may need different details.
Use the city's published standards as a question list
Fulshear publishes concrete and steel standards covering private walks, driveways, patio slabs and public-sidewalk references. Ask your provider to confirm the current applicable standard rather than relying on a generic slab detail. The document specifically distinguishes patio attachment and approach details; these are items to resolve before installation.
Separate association review from public approval
If your property has association restrictions, ask about its process as well as public requirements. An association response is not a permit, and a provider's availability is not approval to start. Keep the approved drawings and conditions with the written installation scope.
Bring the drainage question forward
Identify where water currently flows and where the proposed surface will meet doors or existing paving. Ask how the plan affects adjacent ground and drainage. If the provider identifies a design issue beyond its scope, resolve the appropriate professional input before proceeding.

Continue with concrete patios, the quantity planner, or Fulshear project guidance.
