Plan your new concrete project in Houston.
New concrete planning for Houston: treat the public connection as its own scope, then compare a written installation scope. Address availability remains conditional.
Availability depends on your address, participating providers and current demand. These local planning guides do not guarantee service at your address.

Treat the public connection as its own scope
Houston identifies a specific permit process for residential driveways, sidewalks and curb-and-gutter work. When a driveway project reaches the street, ask who will prepare the applicable site plan and coordinate inspection. Keep the private parking surface and public connection identifiable in the proposal.
Compare the footprint before the finish
For a replacement or extension, draw both the existing edge and proposed edge. Mark garage access and pedestrian crossings so an estimator can explain how the new work meets the old. A decorative border is a different decision from changing the driveway opening.
Bring a project packet, not just a square-foot figure
Gather your address, intended use, measured sketch and photos of access, existing surfaces and drainage. Tell the provider whether demolition is part of the job. Ask it to confirm the actual work offered, responsibility for approvals and a written change process.
Compare driveway installation, patio planning, decorative finishes, slab preparation and walkway installation. Repair-only requests are outside the current scope.
